Scottish Natural Heritage - Wind Turbine

In 2014 we installed a 10KW wind turbine on the Angus coast, providing power to a Scottish Natural Heritage visitor centre in St Cyrus.

We won the tender for the installation thanks to the robust nature of our Bergey 10KW turbine, which has a track record of coping well with adverse weather conditions, a must for any installation close to the North Sea.

In December 2013, installation began and working closely with SNH and other partners the process was completed with minimal disruption to the visitor centre or the nearby area.

With a simplistic highly durable design capable of harnessing the powerful North Easterly winds found in the location, our Bergey turbine was the perfect choice, and there have been no issues of performance or reliability ever since.
